Ps. Someone asked me why this site is called Lily and Marcel…
Here’s the story behind the name:
Around 10 years ago, I used to handwrite bedtime stories for my two boys about the adventures of our Dalmatian Lily and a soft toy monkey called Marcel. I used sheets of A4 and bound them together with a string to make them look like a book. My boys drew the front covers for them, and some illustrations within the pages to match the story. They weren’t the only bedtime stories we read, but for a time they got picked from the shelf most evenings!
I always intended to share the stories here as blog posts, but that never happened. Instead, I ended up sharing my poems, but the cute domain name remained.
